We knew from our very first meeting that Kira and Mike’s wedding day would be nothing but an absolutely beautiful, memorable and fun time for them and all of their guests. They planned their wedding on the July 1st long weekend to give everyone a chance to get away to Niagara on the Lake and spend not just a few hours, but a few days, celebrating with them! I love that they thought of their guests before anything else. There were so many highlights in the day that I can’t pinpoint an actual favourite… their first look was beautiful, the hand sewn chuppah that Mike’s sister made was gorgeous, their decor and florals were simply fabulous, thanks to Gush Events and Mimosa Flower Studio. The rustic barn at Honsberger Estate with it’s stone walls and exposed beams was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding. I loved their outdoor vintage-inspired lounge area set up by The Warehouse Niagara that included various seating areas for their guests to enjoy right under the stars. Yummy cupcakes by the Luvvly Cake Co. were enjoyed as an after dinner treat. The evening was filled with dancing, an over-the-top fireworks display and their surprise Same Day Edit. It was definitely a wedding that everyone is still talking about weeks later. I had a hard time narrowing down my favourite images for the blog. Again, there were so many amazing details and moments that we captured … we feel so honoured to be the keeper of their memories.
and in case you missed their Engagement Story and Same Day Edit, here is it again…
What a beautiful wedding story … Rebecca and Steve had the most perfect day… a super fun bridal party, amazing parents, family and friends… so much love surrounding them as they wed that it was really very magical to be there in the midst of it all. Their ceremony was held outdoors at the Ancaster Mill and we just loved that they said personal vows to each other, it’s always extra beautiful when words are spoken from the heart. We had a quick 45 minutes for photos in between the ceremony and reception so we headed to Canterbury Hills and it was nice for the two of them to have that little bit of down time to enjoy a glass of champagne and take it all in. From the Potting Shed did an absolutely fabulous job on the floral design and it was a pleasure to work alongside Jackie and Amy of The Prepared Bride. Their wedding cake was a simplistic yet elegant design from The Luvvly Cake Co. We know these two are off celebrating on their Mediterranean honeymoon, but we wanted to post their highlights so they can enjoy them from some romantic location and re-live their magical day! A full post of photos will be up on the blog in a few weeks. May happiness and joy fill your hearts for always!

Alana and Mark’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking. The impeccable details, design and decor were pure magic. We are not surprised at all that it’s featured today by Wedluxe as part of their True Love, True Luxury wedding series. I’m so happy to finally be able to share some of the images from their special day and that many will get to enjoy them on the Wedluxe blog and Facebook page as well. It was a pleaure working alongside some incredible vendors: Makeup Worx, Candice and Alison Luxury Event Planners, Cake Opera Co, Susan Murray International, Sweet Peony Press, Dance Floor Decor and Creations by Gitta. We wish these two a lifetime of love and happiness!
On July 6th Jennifer and Matt were married in Toronto. Jenn and her girls got ready at the Trump Tower downtown. We love the elegance of the Trump and it made the perfect location for their first look. The day was beautiful and it was great to finally work alongside Cynthia Martyn and the team from Fuscia Designs who made sure everything looked fabulous and every detail was perfect at the ceremony and reception location, Liberty Grand. I absolutely loved her vintage inspired wedding cake from The Wedding Cake Shoppe made with hundreds of real roses. We wish Jennifer and Matt lots of love and happiness as they embark on many new adventures.

She’s gorgeous. So is he. He loves animals, especially rescues. So does she. They are both smart, funny and share a passion for good food, good drink and good times with close friends and family. They also both happen to be doctors. They truly are a perfect match.
We had such a fun afternoon together in Toronto for their engagement session and enjoyed dinner at a cute little Italian place. I think the thing that I immediately noticed about them is the way they both smile when their eyes meet… it’s instantaneous and electric. They are so at ease in front of the camera and we absolutely can not wait for their wedding day… just a few short weeks from now! Here are a few of my favourite images from their engagement session, it was tough to choose just a few for the blog.
I will never forget the first time we met with Kira and Mike many months ago. Kira said she envisioned her wedding to take place in non-traditional venue where all their friends and family could gather and celebrate for an entire weekend, not just a single day! I love this idea as it gave many a mini vacation in Niagara on the Lake, such a picturesque and beautiful place to spend time, especially with loved ones. Yesterday, we spent the morning with Kira and her girls at the Regent House, a gorgeous home. Monika and her Makeup Worx team were there to beautify all the lovely ladies. The guys jumped onto the Limo bus and headed to Niagara Falls for some mini putt in the morning; I loved that they all got dressed up in mismatched golf attire for the occasion.
After their 1st look in NOTL we headed to the fabulous Honsberger Estate in Jordan for photos followed by their beautiful ceremony and reception. Liz and Danielle at Gush Events did an amazing job at coordinating and making everything run smoothly and were also a great support to us by making sure we had everything we needed. Breathtaking floral design was provided by Mimosa Flowers and Liquid Entertainment had everyone dancing late into the night. The evening ended with a fantastic fireworks display that had everyone ooohing and awwwwing… of course we also heard some of those sounds and lots of laughter during their Same Day Edit. It did our hearts good to receive a standing ovation from the entire room after it played. We have grown really close to Kira and Mike over the past year and felt an immediate bond with their family and friends as well. We want to thank everyone for being so incredibly warm and inviting to our entire team yesterday… this was a wedding story we won’t soon forget! Enjoy your honeymoon in Switzerland xo
